Introduction to The WordPress Site Restore Tool

The WordPress Site Restore tool is available from within iControlWP dashboard, under the "Install/Clone" section:

Please review the following before using the WordPress Site Restore tool:

  • The site you want to restore is currently backed-up using WorpDrive
  • You are not moving the site to a new server location
  • You are not copying the site to a different domain name (see the Clone Tool)
  • You still have full FTP and MySQL access rights
  • Your site still meets the WorpDrive Compatibility requirements
  • Restoring your site is always free with WorpDrive
