What types of page visits are included/excluded from visitor statistics?

Note: This option/feature is no longer applicable to the latest version of the Shield Security plugin and is here for reference purposes only.

At the time of writing, all normal WordPress page visits are included that have a valid page ID.

This doesn't not include:

  • WordPress administrator dashboard (/wp-admin/) visits.
  • Anything that doesn't run the "shutdown" WordPress hook
