How To Change Your iControlWP Registered Account Email

Changing your iControlWP account email is a 3-step process. Losing your account access to an unauthorized entity can be devastating, so we take the update of your account email address very seriously.

Updating email takes 3 stages and can be done in under a minute:

1. Submit your new email address to iControlWP
2. Click the confirmation link in the email you will receive - this confirmation email is sent to your original email address
3. Click the confirmation link in the following email you receive - this confirmation email is sent to your new email address

Why do we do it like this?

We need to be sure that you are who you say you are (step 2) and we need to be sure you can receive emails to your new address from us (step 3).

Where do I access this option to change email address?

Changing email address is done under the email section of your account preferences page (Account section > My Preferences).
