FTP User Doesn't Have Permission to Write to Disk

This error shows that while WorpDrive was able to connect to your site using FTP, after we logged in we couldn't actually write anything to your FTP space.

WorpDrive needs to upload certain temporary files to your FTP space in order to facilitate with the backup.  If we can't write to the disk, WorpDrive wont be able to backup, and it wont be able to perform a restore of any data either.

To fix this

  • Please log into your iControlWP control panel and update the WorpDrive FTP details for this site.
  • Test out the login details you provide on your own computer and try uploading a file.  If this works, then it should work for WorpDrive.
